Instructions
1. Log into your facebook account.
2. Go to the right-top of the facebook home page and click on your name to open your facebook profile.
3. Go with your mouse cursor on the background picture and click on Change Cover.
4. Choose: Choose from Photos... if you want to choose a picture from your facebook profile photos.
Or choose: Upload Photo... if you want to upload a image from your computer

7. Click on the Options button at the right-top-corner of the picture and choose Delete this photo.
8. Click on Confirm and your background picture will be deleted.
